Howard Teibel is the founder of Teibel Education Consulting. For three decades, Howard and his team have worked with higher education leaders to develop new habits and practices that shift how teams embody collaboration over cooperation. With the confluence of accelerating technology, external economic forces, demographic shifts and the questioning of the value of higher education, Teibel believes that the answer lives in learning to navigate building a culture of shared commitment, where academics, administrators and Boards and students drive positive change. As a public speaker and writer for numerous higher education associations, Howard contributes to the national discourse on emerging trends facing education. Additionally, his 10-year-old podcast “Navigating Change” brings together practitioners of change to discuss innovations and new practices that can transform how teams in academia and business work together. Teibel has worked on the cluster redesign for Plymouth State University and is a contributor to the book titled: “Redesigning Higher Education: Systemic Integration and Cluster Based Learning.
