How do I sign-in/login?

Click on the “Login” link in the top right corner of the browser. Enter your email address and password to login. If you forgot your password, click on "Forgot your password" in the log in area.

I would like to change my password.

There is a link on all sign-in forms to help you change your password. Just choose "Sign In" in the top right corner of the browser, click the "Forgot your password?" button, and follow the on-screen instructions. You will then receive an email to verify your email address. Copy the code from the email to the password reset form. You can then choose a new password.

Troubleshooting audio issues

We recommend when having problems with audio to check your internet connection, reset your internet connection if necessary, clear your cache, and update your browser or try another browser. Is internet access required?

Yes, an internet connection is required to log in and view an event. All events offer a range of multimedia features, and we recommend that you have a good broadband or network connection for the optimal experience.

What browsers are supported?

We support the current and the previous major release of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and their mobile counterparts. The Virtual Porch supports Microsoft Edge but does not support Internet Explorer. Each time a new browser version is released, we begin supporting that version and stop supporting the third most recent version. Are Virtual Porch events captioned?

At this time the Virtual Porch does not support closed captioning.

Can I use my phone to call into for Virtual Porch Events?

Unfortunately, you can not call into Virtual Porch events.

I would like to update my email address.

Email address changes are currently only supported for extenuating circumstances such as when you lose access to your email. Please contact the Ticket Office to have an email change request submitted. Ticket Office hours and contact information can be found here: https://chq.org/online-support

Can I participate on my iPhone or smartphone?

Yes, our platform is fully HTML5 compatible which means you can experience a virtual porch event on your smartphone, however, the porch is best experienced on a desktop or large tablet. You can test your browser here: https://embed.archiebot.com/connection-tester

Can I participate on my iPad or tablet?

Our platform was built to work on all iPads and tablets. Layouts, scrolling or displays may vary depending on the device you have. You can test your browser here: https://embed.archiebot.com/connection-tester

How do I join events?

Starting an hour before the event starts, the "join event" button will become enabled on the event page. Clicking that will take you into the event's waiting room.

Why isn't audio working in my Safari browser?

You may need to enable "Allow All Auto-Play" in the Safari settings for porch.chq.org.

Enable this option using these insturctions:

Click on Safari in the Safari Menu Bar in the top left of your screen.

Click on "Settings For This Site..."

Find the Auto-Play option and select "Allow All Auto-Play"

Click back on the webpage. You may need to reload the tab for audio to begin working. Sound should now work for all future events on porch.chq.org.
